About
Paul Baskett is a Boston-based fine art photographer with eclectic tastes and a short attention span. Primarily using traditional photographic and digital processes, sometimes incorporating AI-generated elements, he explores ambiguity as a path toward creative uncertainty unbound by preconceptions or directed intent in several ongoing projects.
Trained as a musician, Baskett more recently began to produce lens-based work after a period of informal noodling followed by more formal instruction at MassArt and the Griffin Museum of Photography. Baskett’s first public exhibition will be as part of the Griffin Museum’s Atelier.39 group show, to be held in August and September 2025.
